Local Mental Health Support

Do you feel like you need some support? If you are struggling with your mental health and don’t know where to turn, or would just like some information about services in your local area, Coventry and Warwickshire's MIND Community Wellbeing Service is here to help. Woodside has a Community Wellbeing Service which can be accessed by our patients. The aim of this service is to provide:

  • A brief one-to-one assessment appointment with a trained Mental Health Advisor lasting up to 30 minutes
  • Advice and Guidance to direct you to the right support services locally to suit your needs
  • Self-help and coping strategies to assist you in managing your mental health and wellbeing
  • A patient information booklet about the services we offer at Woodside is available – Please ask one of our receptionists for a copy

Evening Mental Health Support

Struggling to Cope? Feeling distressed or overwhelmed? Evening Mental Health Support is available for you. Safe Havens are open in Coventry, Nuneaton, Warwick or Coleshill from 6pm to 11pm.

Visit one of Coventry & Warwickshire MIND open-access drop-in centres:

  • The Retreat, Bond Street Nuneaton CV 11 4 DA (7 days a week)
  • Wellington Gardens, Windsor St, Coventry, CV1 3BT (7 days a week)
  • The Old Bank, 45 Coten End, Warwick CV34 4NT (Thursday evening)
  • Coleshill Community Centre, 2 Temple Way, B46 1HH (Friday evening)

If you don't want to visit in person, support can also be accessed via phone, text, email and videochat. leave a message if calling out-of-hours to request a callback.

The service offers crisis intervention support that helps to give back control and stabilises thoughts and actions, preventing deterioration
